Εndodontic
treatment

Endodontic treatment (root canal therapy) is necessary in cases where caries have infected the tooth, nerve and vascular pulp, resulting in intense irreversible pain, either when we have necrosis or abscess.

During this procedure, the nerve and vessels are removed, the root canals are disinfected and at a subsequent session they are filled with a special material.

After root canal therapy, teeth should be restored as soon as possible because they have an increased tendency to break. Thus, the tooth can continue to function for many years without a problem.
